A definition.

chick - en [chik-uh n] -noun
1.
Gallus gallus domesticus;
2. a domestic bird, believed to be descended from the red jungle fowl of southeastern Asia and developed in a number of breeds for its flesh, eggs, and feathers;
3. there are more chickens in the world than any other bird - 24 billion or so;
4. six of them are in my backyard.

dic - tion [dik-shuh n] -noun
1. the choice of words;
2. delivery, loquacity, parlance, voice, lingo, rhetoric, eloquence, persuasiveness, argot, lexicon, jive, verbiage, utterance;
3. is effective when words are appropriate to an audience;
4. a style of expression.

1. unintelligable bird-like utterances;
2. how I think the six chickens in my backyard view this crazy world;
